   Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

   Welcome to Life as a Teacher!

   I started this blog in order to document my journey towards becoming a teacher. 

I am a B.Ed  TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) under a twinning teacher training programme between a local IPG (Institut Pendidikan Guru or Teacher Training Institute) and a local university. This means that I spent two years of foundation studies at the IPG, and two degree years each at the IPG and the university.

I majored in the teaching of English as a Second Language.

My minor subjects were Arts (Pendidikan Seni) and Local Studies (Kajian Tempatan).

I also took a few courses on the teaching of Maths and Science.

The particular twinning programme that I went through caters for the training of primary school teachers.

I was  recently posted to my first school in Gua Musang, Kelantan.

I intend to share what I've learned through this blog and hope that what I write will benefit everybody who visits.
